Behind The Scenes

The
Workshop.

We don't hide our process behind glossy marketing. What you see is authentic sawdust, unfinished timber, and the raw dedication it takes to build a home from scratch.

Our Philosophy

Built to outlast the trend.

Most tiny homes on the market are weekend projects dressed up with professional photography. We hold ourselves to a different standard — every seam, every joint, every system is engineered to perform for 30 years or more.

Our builds are RVIA-compliant, built to HUD standards, and insured for nationwide transport. We document everything from the first stud to the final punch-list walk-through, so you know exactly what you're moving into.

RVIA Compliant

All builds meet Recreational Vehicle Industry Association standards for safety and construction.

FSC Certified

Every stick of structural lumber carries Forest Stewardship Council certification.

Precision Built

Tolerances measured in 32nds of an inch. Floor plans are engineered, not estimated.

Documented Build

Photo & video log of every stage. You see everything before delivery day.

The Build Process

Seven phases. Zero shortcuts.

From the first consultation call to the day we park your home on your land — here's exactly how we work.

Phase 01

Consultation & Design

Typical duration: 2–4 weeks

Every build starts with an honest conversation. We discuss your lifestyle, land, budget, and vision. Our team produces hand-drawn schematics and digital floor plans before a single board is cut.

  • In-person or virtual discovery session
  • Site assessment & zoning review
  • Custom floor plan drafting
  • Material & finish selection
  • Detailed written quote

Common Questions

What people ask us most.

How long does a full build take?

Our typical build runs 14–22 weeks from signed contract to delivery. Custom sizes, specialty systems (solar, composting), or heavy finish packages can extend this. We'll give you an honest timeline estimate in writing before you commit.

Can I visit the workshop during my build?

Yes — and we encourage it. We schedule two formal walk-throughs (frame stage and pre-close-in) plus offer virtual video calls at any phase. You'll see your home as it's being built, not just when it's finished.

Do you handle permits and zoning?

We provide all the documentation you'll need: stamped engineering drawings, RVIA certification, energy compliance reports, and a full build packet. Permit filing is the owner's responsibility, but we walk you through it and answer jurisdiction questions.

What warranties do you offer?

Structural components carry a 5-year warranty. Systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are warrantied by the respective manufacturers, and we facilitate any warranty claims during the first year. Appliances carry manufacturer warranties.

Can I finance a build?

We work with several tiny home lenders who offer personal and RV loans. We'll connect you with our preferred partners early in the process so financing is sorted before we break ground.
